Duties or tasks that one is expected to perform.
· Managing inventory. Monitor inventory levels to minimize expenses while meeting service objectives. Keep track of stock levels to avoid shortages and modify as needed to maintain the best inventory levels.
· Managing purchase orders: Assess purchase orders, resolve any discrepancies, and oversee the entire ordering process from initiation to receipt. Ensure the proper tracking and updating of purchase orders.
· Predicting the future demand for a product or service. Use sales information and industry patterns to predict demand, ensuring that inventory levels match customer needs.
· The coordination of sales and operational activities. Lead S&OP meetings to coordinate supply and demand strategies and resolve any discrepancies in meeting goals.
· Reporting on performance: Create and present consistent updates on key performance indicators and the effectiveness of sales channels, providing valuable recommendations to senior leadership.
· Analyzing data. Examine fluctuations in the market, recognize recurring trends, and utilize prediction techniques to improve the accuracy of demand forecasts.
· Working together across different departments or areas of expertise. Collaborate with departments such as marketing, product sales and logistics to coordinate on demand forecasts, facilitate product launches and drive process enhancements.
· Constantly improving. Consistently evaluate and enhance demand planning procedures in order to maximize forecast precision, inventory rotation, and supply chain efficiency.
· Managing a project: Help with specific tasks and collaborate with colleagues to assess processes with the goal of improving quality and efficiency.
Credentials
· Previous encounters or situations that someone has gone through. Demonstrated expertise in areas such as analyzing sales, managing inventory, or related functions. It would also be beneficial if you have previous experience as an Inventory Controller or Sales Analyst.
· Learning and instruction. This course requires a BSc / BA in Business Administration or a closely related academic qualification; Sales or marketing certifications are highly desirable.
· Skills related to a specific field or industry that involve specialized knowledge and abilities. Expert in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and ERP systems (including statistic forecasting tools).
· Communication abilities: Excellent English language skills, both in writing and verbal.
