Because of the latest struggle outbreak in South Sudan, IRC re opened the Yumbe Field office to help refugees getting settled in Bidibidi refugee settlement in Yumbe District.
Purpose: In order to help the Manager in ensuring effective, effective and quality medical services delivery and medicine and medical supplies for the well being of the public in Yumbe.
Objectives:
· Help the director to monitor medical services, RH, pharmaceutical supplies and IPC at facility levels.
· Provide timely, full and correct periodic services reports.
· Reduce irrational drug prescription rate and also regular stock outs.
Crucial ACTIVITIES
· ·Provide extensive evaluation plus delivery of health services to people of matter according to ministry of health guidelines and protocols and the UNHCR public health strategy
· Coordinate incorporated service delivery at the facilities such as but not restricted to Mental well being, NCDs, Nutrition HIV care and also RH like control of consultancy and also outreach visits
· Conduct daily ward rounds for IPD people and also deal with other emergencies equally surgical and medical while on duty
· Ensure sufficient health team coverage of the centers and rational prescription and use of medicines and supplies
· Monitor availability of resources and promptly alert the Clinical services and health managers
· Coordinate clinical audits, chart reviews and mortality audits during constant learning and improvement activities
· Identify training requirements and also give Just-in-time instruction and mentorship of multi disciplinary health care teams
· Promptly assess individuals for referral and follow up to make sure that services are seen at the point of referral
· Help support the implementation of emergency reproductive health services such as basic emergency obstetric and neonatal care
· Co-ordinate with district health authorities along with other companies in order to stay away from duplication of services within the settlements and also to enhance health results through enhanced use of life saving interventions
· Actively participate in mobilizing and also training the refugee group to follow health promoting behaviours
· Ensure timely and consistent collection, utilisation and reporting of community health and facility-based health data Represent the program and keep cordial and effective relationships with District Health authorities along with other district officials, UN agencies, community leaders and other NGOs.
· Conduct disease surveillance activities and also manage outbreaks

· Bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery
· 2 years experience in medical management in emergency setting
· Must be authorized by the Dental and medical Council of Uganda
· Good track record of medical management of common ailments
· Knowledge of grants management
