Primary duties

As an offshore Scaffolding Inspector your main duties are going to be as follows:

·      Regularly inspect scaffolding structures to ensure they meet ARAMCO and project safety regulations.

·      Make sure that the scaffolding meets all safety regulations set by the local authorities and company guidelines, particularly in offshore settings.

·      Working in partnership with project teams, coordinate with site supervisors, security officers, and colleagues to resolve any concerns related to scaffolding.

·      Report and document daily inspection findings, record any accidents or safety risks, and forward this information to the project management team.

·      Conduct Safety Audits: Regularly inspect and evaluate the safety of scaffolding installations and dismantling processes.

·      Training and guidance will be provided to scaffold builders along with other crew members to make sure they follow safe practices.

·      This position will involve traveling between land-based and sea-based facilities, emphasizing the importance of upholding strict safety protocols.

Necessary qualifications

The following qualifications are required for the Scaffolding Inspector having offshore experience:

·      At least five years of experience in inspecting scaffolding, with a preference for candidates who have worked on industrial and offshore projects.

·      In addition to having Pipeline Quality Control (QC) CBT as well as Offshore Experience, Candidates must also have ARAMCO Certification for scaffolding inspection.

·      Qualifications: Certificate in Scaffolding Inspection from a recognized institution or successful completion of a recognised vocational training course.

·      Ability to perform the physical tasks involved in working offshore, such as climbing and moving scaffolding materials.

·      Having certifications in safety courses or occupational safety and health (OSH) can also be beneficial.

·      Having strong communication abilities in English, including writing and speaking, is crucial for successful reporting and team interaction.
