The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a qualified Senior Project Engineer to be in charge of large-scale heavy-civil, road as well as bridge projects, valued at over $10 billion. Primary Duties –
· Take charge and oversee skilled project teams in order to successfully and safely meet project objectives.
· Make sure that all staff members follow the safety protocols and guidelines set by the company.
· Research, Develop and implement new construction techniques and approaches.
· Contribute to the strategic planning of project management plans, which includes creating detailed CPM schedules.
· Oversee project finances, allocate resources, coordinate subcontractors, and handle material purchasing.
· Build and uphold strong professional connections with clients, joint venture partners, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
· Supervise the implementation of projects, make decisions, and monitor financial performance.
· Make sure to follow company policies, industry regulations, and contractual obligations.
· Oversee project engineering tasks, ensuring that reporting and documentation are up to date as well as in accordance with specifications.
· Execute quality control and assurance strategies to guarantee adherence to engineering guidelines and regulations.
· Oversee the submission of project materials, making sure that approvals and documents are completed in a timely manner.
· Collaborate on construction planning, understand design concepts, and create effective construction methods.

Applications and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
· Experience in heavy civil construction is required – at least * * 8 years * *.
· Strong knowledge of laws and regulations governing civil construction.
· Expert in Microsoft Office as well as BlueBeam with an emphasis on HCSS HeavyJob, Vista, Primavera and CAD P6.
· A valid Driver’s License is required and the ability to navigate all aspects of a construction site in different conditions is necessary.
