Position Overview: Classroom Teacher

The Classroom Teacher will have the task of creating and presenting interesting educational programs that help students develop and achieve their learning goals. The role also involves working closely with families, support teams and also the wider school community to promote personal and academic growth for students.

One of the main duties is to provide direct instruction to students, which includes following personalized learning plans and making sure the curriculum is being carried out effectively.

·      Creating a curriculum that is in line with both the Victorian Curriculum and the educational goals of Nepean School.

·      Data is used to guide teaching practices in order to assess and evaluate student progress.
