Job Summary:

As an electrical engineer, your responsibilities include :.
1. Electrical system design and development:
· Creating and improving electrical systems, circuits, and components to suit specific project requirements.
· Generate technical illustrations, plans, and diagrams utilizing AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar software for electrical design.
· Choose the proper materials, components and electric equipment for the installations.
2. Project Management and execution:
· Supervise electrical engineering projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from initial planning to final completion, to ensure they stay on schedule and within budget.
· Work closely with electrical designs to be integrated into general construction plans along with civil engineers, mechanical designers and project managers.
· Follow the progress of the project and propose solutions to any technical issues.
3. Electrical testing, troubleshooting and maintenance
· Testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems are carried out to verify adherence, efficiency, and safety to industry standards.
· Identify faults and system failures, and implement troubleshooting and preventive maintenance techniques that solve the problem.
· Maintain electrical equipment so that it operates continuously through routine inspections and maintenance work.
4. Compliance with safety & regulatory standards
· Making sure that all electrical engineering tasks comply with the safety laws and building codes in Saudi Arabia, as well as global engineering standards such as IEC, IEEE, and NEC.

· Develop documentation to ensure adherence to regulations and monitor project progress.
5. Collaboration and Communication
· coordinate electrical installations by working in concert with architects, designers and technicians.

· Provide training for entry-level engineers and technicians on maintaining electrical systems and following safety protocols.
**Qualifications and Skills Needed**
Educational requirement:
· The minimum educational requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a closely related discipline.
· Having a Master’s degree is beneficial, but it is not necessary.
Experience:
· Minimum of three years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally in the sectors of power, construction or manufacturing.
· Experience in the design and maintenance of electrical systems.
Technical skills:
o Proficiency in using electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, MATLAB, or similar programs.
o understanding of electric circuits, control systems and power distribution networks.
o Having expertise in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and automation technologies can be beneficial.
Soft Skills:

Certifications (Optional):
· Possession of a Professional Engineering (PE) License or a similar certification is preferred.
